This winter a beautiful snowy owl paid a rare visit to Beckley WV. It was a rare site to see him perched in a tree as he was in the city and most of the time when he was spotted it was on top of a building or a power pole. Although it was pouring snow I was able to capture him setting high in a pine tree on the edge of the city.
